Our Society has been operating a Sericulture in 2 Acre Land at Jammikunta where recently the Plantations has been planted successfully with around 20,000 plants. The Society is utilizing the best economical alternatives to bring out profitable yields from this unit in upcoming 6 months.
Though Vermi Compost is a traditional fertilizer accessible for farmers, it has lost its popularity with the flood of synthetic fertilisers into the market. But in keeping view of Environment and Society’s Objective to restore the Environment, The Society has already making its steps in marketing of Compost sludge with Siricilla Municipal Corporation. And 5 Vermi Compost Units are being established at COC’s where the members are trained for one day at NRDI Rajendra Nagar.
Though the Society is primarily dependent on TS MarkFEd for the Cattle Feed, it plans ahead to initiate a small Cattle Feed Mixing Plant to achieve right proportions of Seed Cakes to meet the quality as per the prescribed norms.
