Big Plant Nursery was created over 20 years ago.  We’re a passionate team of horticulturalists dedicated to promoting, growing, sourcing and supplying hardy exotic, architectural and rare, exciting plants from the temperate regions around the world. 


Awareness of our planet and environmental concerns are at the forefront of our minds and as such we strive to promote sustainability where possible.  We really hope you like our approach and occasional eccentricity.  
Please visit us if you can, you will always be met with a warm welcome.  We’re open seven days a week with an abundance of plants and inspiration to nourish your soul and the wonderful Jungle Tea Room is open Wednesday to Sunday to nourish your stomach.  


**The nursery is brimming with a fabulous selection of plants, many of which are home grown.  We’re fully open and continuing to navigate the global pandemic, whilst visiting please do observe social distancing where possible and wear a mask in the undercover areas.  Please show our staff and other customers respect by being patient during busy periods and respecting personal space.**
